Ballad of Love to the Wind

Published in 1990, Ballad of Love to the Wind marked Paulina Chiziane's debut - and was the first novel published by a woman in Mozambique. The narrative follows Sarnau, a southern Mozambican woman, who lives an intense and poetic love story with Mwando, only to be confronted with the
